SMG New Year's Online Roundtable
Wednesday, 6 January 2021
4.00 pm - 5.30 pm
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 situation, we must renounce the physical meeting of our New Year's reception. Nevertheless, together with our esteemed members we want to hold on to our tradition of taking a look at important topics and challenges of the new year. Accordingly, we invite you to the virtual room and we look forward to a lively discussion around the issue:
Where does the Swiss economy stand at the beginning of the new year?
We are very pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Jan-Egbert Sturm, Head of the economist group in the Federal Science Task Force and Director of the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at ETH Zurich. May we master the great challenges together and emerge from them positively strengthened. In doing so, we will be assisted by the highly regarded innovative strength of our small country and we can consider ourselves fortunate in the valuable interaction between business, education and research. Accordingly, we would like to increase our support in the future and, together with the ETH Foundation, provide you with access to as well as exchange with outstanding personalities in 2021.
Welcome by Dr. Lukas Braunschweiler, President SMG and Michael Domeisen, Head of Partnerships and Member of the Management Board at ETH Foundation
