Admission requirements
Through its networking and platform function, the Schweizerische Management Gesellschaft (SMG) serves as a source of inspiration for entrepreneurs, C-level managers and board members who are concerned with strategic and operational management issues. In order to meet this requirement, the SMG has a restrictive admission procedure: Members hold an executive management function or a board mandate in a company that has at least ten employees (10 full-time equivalents). Excluded from this minimum number of employees are institutions such as cooperatives, foundations, associations and educational or political organizations and their active senior executives.
The SMG Board of Directors decides on the admission of interested persons as members. In order to ensure a balance of sectors at events, SMG currently has an event quota for the education and consulting sectors.
Quota for events
Schweizerische Management Gesellschaft aims to provide its members with impetus through encounters, exchange and discourse. For our members, this means that they meet people at our events who are able to inspire them with their experiences.
They seek and find an active exchange of experiences with us, rather than a platform for finding new suppliers and business partners. In order to ensure a balance of sectors and a horizon-expanding exchange at events for all members, SMG therefore reserves the right in exceptional cases not to exceed a quota of representatives from the areas of traditional management consultancy with fewer than 50 employees at individual events.
