Eugen Elmiger, Chief Executive Officer since 2011, steers the fortunes of the maxon Group with passion and vision. Having joined the company in 1991, he built up the sales business in Asia and played a key role in shaping it. Eugen studied electrical engineering at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and completed further training at the University of St. Gallen and Stanford Business School.

Andreas Richter has been Chief Operating Officer since 2020 and plays a key role in implementing the company's strategy. Andreas is Vice Chairman of the maxon Group. He supplemented his training as an industrial engineer with a master's degree in strategic management.

As Chief Technology Officer, Stefan Müller has been driving innovation and development at the maxon Group since 2022. He joined the company in 2017. He holds a doctorate in electrical engineering and studied at the University of Stuttgart.

Dr. Thomas Gittler has been Group Chief Digital Technology Officer at maxon since 2024 and is driving forward the digitalization of both internal processes and customer-oriented offerings. He joined the company in 2022 and earned his doctorate in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich. Prior to that, he studied mechanical engineering at KIT and EPFL.

Roger Villiger has been Chief Sales Officer at maxon since 2024 and maintains close contact with customers. He began his career at maxon in 2009 as a sales engineer, where he developed a deep understanding of maxon's products and customer needs. Roger holds a degree in industrial engineering and an Executive MBA from the University of Zurich.

Alice Chalupny is a partner and co-owner of the communications and business consulting firm Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Konsulenten, a member of the board of directors, a lecturer in crisis and corporate communications at various universities, and a specialist officer in the Swiss Army's Command and Communications Training Command (KFK). Prior to that, she spent ten years managing corporate communications for the insurance company Mobiliar and the agricultural, food, retail, and energy company fenaco. From 1999 to 2014, she worked as a journalist for various media outlets, most recently as business editor of the Sonntagszeitung newspaper. Alice Chalupny studied international relations at the University of Zurich and holds certificates in corporate strategy, M&A, and strategic marketing from INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
