Alexander Theobald, has been responsible for the Operations and Business Development division at Ringier since September 2014 and is a Member of the Group Executive Board of Ringier Ltd. In September 2016, he was appointed COO of Ringier Switzerland and at the same time held the position of CEO of the Blick Group. From 1 April 2020 onwards, he has also led the magazine publishing joint venture Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz Ltd as CEO. Between 2010 and 2014, he headed the press wholesale division of Valora AG. He had previously served as a member of the group executive management at Ringier from 2004 to 2009. He was initially responsible for the Swiss magazine business and thereafter for the company's operations in Hungary and Romania. Alexander Theobald grew up in Germany and Switzerland, where he completed an arts degree in 1992. Following a training programme at the Axel Springer publishing house in Hamburg and Berlin, he held leading positions in the publishing industry in Switzerland.
Davide Villa, has been CEO of JobCloud since February 2019. He previously led the Business Development, Product Management and Company Development divisions as a Member of the Executive Board. Davide Villa has international industry experience in HR technology and employment platforms. His previous roles include: Chairman of the Board of Directors of jobs.ch, CEO of Monster Central and Eastern Europe, Chief Revenues Officer and Senior Vice President B2B of XING, Marketing and Business Development Director of Idealjob (Adecco Group) and COO of jobpilot GmbH.
Christian Dorer, has been Editor-in-Chief of the Blick Group since February 2017. He previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the "Aargauer Zeitung / az North-West Switzerland" newspaper from 2009 onwards. Dorer is a graduate of the Ringier School of Journalism and has worked as a business editor and Swiss parliamentary correspondent for "BLICK" and "SonntagsBlick". He is the President of the Conference of Swiss Editors-in-Chief, a member of the Foundation Board of the MAZ Swiss School of Journalism in Lucerne and co-programme manager of the Swiss Media Forum.
Jonas Projer, has been building the new television station Blick TV at Ringier since May 2019. Before that, he had most recently been responsible for the "Arena" TV series, which he also hosted, and the SRF talkshows "Club" and "Schawinski". Projer studied cinematic arts at Zurich University of the Arts and subsequently completed an internship with Swiss broadcaster SRF. He worked as the home correspondent for Zurich and Schaffhausen and for a variety of news editorial departments at SRF before taking on the role of EU correspondent in Brussels in 2011.
Lukas Braunschweiler, President of SMG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tecan Group Ltd. Dr Lukas Braunschweiler is President of SMG and sits on the boards of directors of various companies. He holds a Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from ETH Zurich. From 2011 to the end of March 2018, he worked as the CEO of the Sonova Group. He was previously CEO of the Swiss technology group RUAG, led the California-based Dionex Corporation as President and CEO from 2002 to 2009, and worked in Group Executive Management at Mettler Toledo from 1995 to 2002.
Registration and fee
The number of participants is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received and in consideration of sector representation.
Fee per person: CHF 235.-. A confirmation of registration and invoice will follow.
Kindly note that the registrations are binding. A representative from the company management may attend if the original registrant is unable to attend at short notice. We are obliged to invoice in the event of cancellations without a stand-in and no-shows.

How to get there
Arriving by public transport
From Zurich main station, take the no. 4 tram (direction Bahnhof Tiefenbrunnen) to the "Opernhaus" stop or the no. 11 tram (direction Rehalp) to the "Zürich Stadelhofen" stop. Ringier's main entrance is only a few minutes' walk from the Opernhaus or Zürich Stadelhofen station.
Arriving by car
No reserved parking spaces are available. The nearest multi-storey car parks are the Parkhaus Opéra at Schillerstrasse 5 and Parkhaus Utoquai at Färberstrasse 6.
