Delica AG was founded in 2021 and is a merger of the companies Chocolat Frey AG, Delica AG, Midor AG, Riseria SA and Total Capsule Solutions. Under the name Delica, the highest level of indulgence expertise is united under the umbrella of Migros-Industry. Delica employs around 2200 people at five locations in Switzerland and numerous branches abroad.
Delica develops and produces high-quality indulgence products in the areas of chocolate, snacks, cooking products and coffee. As a proven specialist for needs-oriented concepts, Delica supplies customers in Switzerland and around the world with indulgent specialties for the whole day. It produces numerous own brands for Migros and for well-known large corporations in Switzerland and abroad.

Raphael Gugerli, CEO, Delica AG Raphael Gugerli has been CEO of Delica AG since it was founded in 2021. He had already held various management positions at the former Delica AG since 2009 and was CEO from 2015 until the new Delica was founded. Before joining Delica, Dr. Raphael Gugerli worked for Roland Berger and Nestlé. He studied chemical engineering at EPFL in Lausanne and at the Technical University of Denmark and also obtained his doctorate at EPFL Lausanne. He continued his education while working at Standford University, where he completed an MBA, among other things. | |
Sarah Sot, Head of Sustainability, Delica AG Sarah Sot has been Head of Sustainability at Delica AG since August 2023. Previously, she was responsible for coffee sustainability at Delica and the Migros Group, with a focus on cooperation with producers in Honduras, Peru and Brazil. Since 2015, she has supported companies worldwide, including food manufacturers, retailers, energy and transportation companies, in various consulting roles to develop more sustainable supply chains and strategies. She holds degrees in Business Administration (BSc, University of Mannheim) and Sustainable Development (MSc, University of Basel), with overseas postings in Mexico and Denmark. | |
Ralf van den Bragt, Leiter BU Coffee, Member of the Executive Board, Delica AG Ralf van den Bragt, Head of the Coffee business unit and member of the Delica AG Executive Board, has been with Delica for ten years and is responsible for the Café Royal, Delizio and CoffeeB brands. He was the initiator of the idea for CoffeeB, the capsule without a capsule, and was responsible for the development of the product as well as the development of the concept, industrialization and launch. Previously, Ralf van den Bragt worked for 8 years at UCC (Ueshima Coffee Company, United Coffee, Drie Mollen sinds 1818) as Head of Business Development EU and Head of Marketing and at Koninklijke Wessanen. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), International Management degree from Maastricht University in Holland. | |
Matthias Kreysel, Head of Research & Development, Migros Industrie Matthias Kreysel has been Head of Research and Development (R&D) and a member of the Executive Board of Migros Industry since 2019. He has been with Migros since 2017. He initially headed up development activities at Mibelle in Buchs before moving up to his current role. Before joining Migros Industry, he was Chief R&D Officer for the British private label producer McBride Plc in London. Prior to that, Matthias held global management roles in R&D, sustainability, marketing, supply chain and sales at Henkel and Ecolab. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Biesterfeld in Hamburg. Matthias studied chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Bonn, where he earned a doctorate in organic chemistry. Matthias has been a member of SMG for many years. | |
Sarah Kreienbühl, Member of the Executive Board, Kühne+Nagel International AG, Schindellegi, President SMG Sarah Kreienbühl is a member of the Executive Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG and CHRO with additional responsibility for sustainability. She was previously a member of the Executive Board of the Federation of Migros Cooperatives for five years and was responsible for HRM, corporate communications and social commitment at the Migros Group. From 2004 to 2017, she was a member of the Executive Board at Sonova (formerly Phonak) with global responsibility for HRM, and from 2012 she was also in charge of corporate communications, corporate branding and sustainability. Sarah Kreienbühl is a member of the Board of Directors of Rieter Holding Ltd. and Chairwoman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. |

Arrival by public transportation:
From Zurich main station, take the train at xx.04/ xx.08/xx.38 to Aarau, then bus no. 1 from Kante E to "Buchs, Industrie". Get off at the bus stop, walk back about 20 meters and you will find the main entrance to Delica on the left-hand side.
Arrival by car:
The address Bresteneggstrasse 4 in Buchs will lead you directly to Delica. The parking spaces are on the left-hand side of the street. Use either the visitor parking spaces opposite the main entrance or the large employee parking lot about 50 meters further ahead, also on the left-hand side.
Note: Please wear sturdy shoes. Jewelry must be removed for the production tour. Further safety and hygiene regulations will be communicated on site.
